Mark Wilkinson

Mark Wilkinson, MA (Hons) (Aberd), PhD (Cantab), MSc (Oxon), is a senior leader and manager in the NHS and has expertise in operational and strategic management across a number of specialist areas: haematology & oncology, specialist medicine, emergency medicine, paediatrics and neonatology, obstetrics & gynaecology and HIV and sexual health services. Prior to working for the NHS, Dr Wilkinson was a health services researcher at the Department of Social Medicine, University of Bristol; Dr Wilkinson is an executive member of the Oxford Global Healthcare Network and is the Director of his healthcare consultancy company. Dr Wilkinson holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology with first-class honours from the University of Aberdeen, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in medical sociology from the University of Cambridge, and working toward a Master of Science degree (MSc) from the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences and Said Business School, University of Oxford.
